American Boy Choir Coming to Arts Centre
 
     The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County  (the "Arts Centre" for short, sometimes called the Coweta Centre for the Visual and Performing Arts) has been the venue for performances by many prestigious performing artists.  The next such event is announced below in the article taken from the the current issue of the great online arts news service, the Southside Arts Agenda:

October 29th - The American Boy Choir in Concert 7:00 p.m.  - The American Boychoir's rich sonorities, musical sophistication, expressive power and innovative programming have established its reputation as the United States ' premier concert boys' choir and one of the finest boychoirs in the world.  Its members - boys in grades 5 through 8 - come from around the country to pursue a rigorous academic and musical curriculum at The American Boychoir School, the only non-sectarian residential boys' choir school in the country.  The student body reflects the ethnic, religious and cultural diversity of the United States, and graduates are eagerly sought by the finest boarding schools or are frequently placed in advanced courses in hometown public schools.  The School offers rolling admissions throughout the year and holds auditions for interested boys after each concert.  Founded in Columbus , Ohio in 1937, The American Boychoir has been located in Princeton, New Jersey since 1950.  Tickets will be available in late September.
