Coweta   Arts   Tidbits The  Successor  To  Newnan-Coweta  Arts  Council  News  Releases   Composed By:  Forrest W. Schultz  770-583-3258  July 21, 2008   Golden Dragon Acrobats Return to Arts Centre        During the past four years there have been many great artists at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County.  One of the most outstanding of these was the Golden Dragon Acrobats, who will be returning soon for another performance at the Arts Centre.        The Centre has provided this info on the perfomers:   The Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time honored tradition that began more than twenty-five centuries ago. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as the premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company of today. The reputation of the company is solidly rooted in a commitment to the highest of production values and an attention to artistic details that is unparalleled in the art form. World renowned impresario Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang combine award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques to present a show of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty.      The performance of the Golden Dragon Acrobats will begin at 2:30 PM on September 7, 2008.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the Centre at 770-254-2787.         The Centre is located on Lower Fayetteville Road several miles east of Newnan.
