Coweta   Arts   Tidbits The  Successor  To  Newnan-Coweta  Arts  Council  News  Releases   Composed By:  Forrest W. Schultz  770-583-3258   September 10, 2008   Andy Cunningham, Jr. Art Exhibit at Arts Centre Oct. 13 - 30        The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County recently announced that it will be hosting an exhibit by one of Georgia's greatest visual artists, Andy Cunningham, Jr. from Atlanta.  Cunningham is a teacher at the Woodward Academy and is chairman of the Visual Arts Department of the Governors Honors Program of Georgia.  He has exhibited at art galleries and museums all across the country where his works have won many awards.  His works have also been featured in various publications including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Southern Homes, Guide to Georgia, and Art Papers.   Anyone who is familiar with the high standards of the Arts Centre would expect no less.  Ever since the Arts Centre opened four years ago, its Director Don Nixon has become welll known for bringing us the best!        The Gallery hours of the Centre are 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
