Schultz 770-583-3258   January 21, 2009   Musicology of Newnan Announces Songwriting Class in February        Musicology in downtown Newnan has just announced that next month it will be holding a class in Songwriting.  This is the info provided:   Back By Popular Demand... Song Writing 101 With Acclaimed Songwriter Diane Durrett   Whether you write lyrics, music, or both, this is a class designed just for you.  In four class days you are guaranteed to have written a fantastic new song. We'll cover the important aspects of song writing - from finding a good "hook" to developing a chorus;  creating your music then fine tuning the entire package to make it perfect.  In addition, you'll learn important industry information regarding copywriting and songwriter affiliations.  At the end of the week, everyone will perform and share our successful new songs.   If you would like to get an idea for who will be teaching the class check out Diane's website www.dianedurrett.com.   The class will meet every Tuesday night from 7-9 PM for four weeks.
