Coweta Arts Tidbits The Successor To Newnan-Coweta Arts Council News Releases Composed By: Forrest W. Schultz 770-583-3258   February 20, 2009   Solo Art Exhibition By Martin Pate at Dogwood Gallery      A year ago Newnan artist Martin Pate won Best In Show in a national art contest.  Pate is now back in the news again, this time concerning his newest art works, which will be featured in his Solo Art Exhibition opening on March 28 at the Dogwood Gallery in Tyrone.  The opening reception will be held that evening from 6:30 PM through 9:30 PM.  The Exhibition will run through April 28.        Pate has chosen the four works shown below as representative of the variety in the art which will comprise the show. Here are Pate's descriptions of them:   1. "Alex"- life drawing in conte and pastel 2. "Orchard"- Oil on canvas landscape. 11X14 3. "Box"- Figurative painting titled, "Box of Light" 24X30 oil 4.
