Masterworks Chorale and the Art of David Boyd in Newnan-Coweta Magazine
The Newnan-Coweta Magazine has been doing a commendable job of including informative and interesting articles on the arts among its bi-monthly portraits of the county. The current issue, November-December 2007, provides a good example.
An article entitled "Greetings!" discusses the artwork of David Boyd with an especial emphasis on his Redneck greeting cards which have made him known all over the world. The text is written by Alex McRae, and Bob Fraley provides a good photograph of Boyd as well as excellent pictures of three of these humorous cards. You will find this on pages 11 through 15.
Pages 62 through 67 are devoted to Coweta's premier chorus -- The Masterworks Chorale, which is about to begin its new season. Pages 62 and 63 provide a group photograph of the Chorale dressed up and ready to sing. The remaining pages include shots taken during rehearsals, including one showing the Director Kathy Bizarth and Pianist David Kinrade. The author of the article is Elizabeth Richardson and the photographs are by Bob Fraley and Alicia Freese Photography.
