Southeastern Ballet Company To Perform Nutcracker On Dec. 22
 
     Everybody knows about Tschaikovsky's famous Nutcracker but not everyone may be aware that there is a new ballet company on the Southside which will perform it this year.  The following announcement by the Southeasten Ballet Company notes this performance and spells forth the mission of these performing artists:
 
Southeastern Ballet Company announces its annual Holliday Nutcracker Concert on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Sandy Creek High School Auditorium!
Southeastern Ballet Company has put together an exciting evening of new holiday dances as well as traditional pieces from the ever popular Nutcracker.

Ms. Yasmine Hassaan is the primary choreographer for all productions at SBC. Ms. Hassaan was a professional ballet dancer for 13 years in New York City. At the age of sixteen she entered the School of American Ballet in NYC. She received training there from well known teachers, including Danilava, Tumkovsky, Doubrovska, Stuart, Williams, Schorer, and Kramarevsky. By the age of eighteen, she was touring extensively throughout Europe, the Far East, and the United states, dancing in major ballets and leading roles choreographed by George Balanchine, Edward Villella, Robert North, Frances Patrelle, Vincente Nebrate, Robert Vesak, George Tomel, and others.
Ms. Hassaan, known as Yasmine Bosinas professionally, has performed Rite of Spring, Coppelia, Death of the Maiden, Scheherazade, Pas de Dix, Symphony in C, Rhapsody in Blue, American in Paris, Piganini, Entre Dos Aguas, Invitation to Dance, The Nutcracker, and many other ballets. Throughout her career she has worked with well-known artists such as Anthony Dowell, Cynthia Gregory, Fernando Bujones, Lynn Seymour, Leonid Kozlov, Bobby Blanchine, and Robert North. Today, she owns a dance studio, Classical Dance Theatre, where she teaches and develops young dancers who aspire to become professional dancers.
