Schultz 770-583-3258  schultz_forrest@yahoo.com   May 27, 2009   Newnan Theatre Announces "Family Reunion Potluck Murder Mystery"        Theaters as well as novelists keep on coming up with new kinds of murder mysteries.  Here is the latest one I have heard of, which is presented by our own Newnan Theatre here in Coweta County -- the county where anything can happen!!  Here is the Theatre's Publicity Director Dianne Olsen discussion of it: Come join the Newnan Community Theatre Company for their first Family Reunion! It is a potluck murder mystery! The story is as follows: Scott Smith (known to the family as Great Scott), the patriarch of the Smith family (and holder of the family fortune), has called a reunion in order to make final changes to his will before he passes on. Everyone in the family feels they have a claim to the money. Each member wants to discredit the others in order to increase their own inheritance. Some people will stop at nothing to get that money...even murder! The event will be held on June 20th.  Doors open at 6:30.  Here's how it works. During the reunion, you (and your team if you have one) will follow the cast members around the gathering, listening to private conversations. You find clues, search for evidence, and try to solve the crime. You'll be assigned a place on the family tree (we're all related!).  Participants are encouraged to come and act as their character.  Just like many family reunions, participants are to bring a dish.
