Schultz 770-583-3258   May 6, 2009   NCAA Annual Juried Art Show Opening Reception Set For June 4        The artists in the Newnan-Coweta Art Association are preparing for their most important event of the year:  their Annual Juried Art Show, which will be held during the month of June at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County.  The room at the Arts Centre designated as the Art Gallery is small but there is plenty of wall space for hanging paintings in the hallways of this elegant building as well as a long room in the front for refreshments and socializing.        The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday June 4 from 6 PM through 8 PM.  There will be three prizes awarded this year, as there was last year.  There will be a "Best In Show" Award and two Merit Awards.  The paintings will remain hanging throughout the remainder of the month of June.  Further information on this show and the other activities of NCAA is available on their website www.newcaa.com.        The Arts Centre is located on 1523 Lower Fayetteville Road several miles east of Newnan.  Infomation is available by calling 770-254-2787 or by visiting their website www.thecentreonline.net
