Schultz 770-583-3258   July 1, 2009   Newnan Theatre Announces Auditions For Tom Sawywer Play        Newnan Theatre's Publicity Director Dianne Olsen has released the following announcement:   FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newnan Community Theatre Company Contact:  Dianne Olsen, 770-683-6282 NCTC Announces Auditions for "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" Mark Twain's beloved 1876 novel, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," is about a young boy growing up in the antebellum south on the Mississippi river.  The play version will be on the main stage this September at the Newnan Community Theatre Company. Auditions for the show are July 6 and 7 at the theatre.  There are roles for all ages.  Auditions will begin at 7 pm and actors may attend either evening to try out for a role. "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is being directed by Lamar Payne and is part of the theatre's 2009 season.   The show dates are September 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27.  NCTC is located at 24 1st Avenue in downtown Newnan.  For more information about the theatre, visit their website at www.newnantheatre.org.
