Coweta arts tidbits

Tinsley has established this drama group as a Sharpsburg community theatre group, which will be performing in several venues. The venue for their first play will be a church fellowship hall but the play is a community event performed by a community theatre group, and is not an activity of the church. However, the play itself is about a church (which -- guess what -- is in a small southern town) which has just got a new Pastor. This venue is the fellowship hall of the Sharpsburg Baptist Church located at 6413 Highway 54 in Sharpsburg.
To those theatregoers who like to go out to dinner before the show, A Wedding and a Funeral is a very convenient play to attend because a dinner will be served at the venue immediately prior to the performance. (The dinner will consist of pork medallions with peach sauce, scalloped potatoes, green beans, tea or coffee, and dessert.) The combined price for the dinner and theatre is only $20. Dinner will be served at 7 PM. There will be three performances, March 15, March 16, and March 17. Tickets may be purchased by calling 770-599-6046 or by emailing sbcdramateam@yahoo.com. (A nursery is available by prior arrangement.)
Further information on this play or on the drama team is available by calling Glo Tinsely at 770-599-8661 (home) or 678-772-8932 (cell).
