Book Signing Extravaganza

Janet, it has been a very long time!!!

OK, this is really something I am excited about -- if you could do something special on this, great.  I will be writing one Tidbit about each author coming -- so it will end up being a lot of info.  Since I really like you I am going to let you read what I just emailed to the Grantville Depotalk group to give you some idea.

Let's chat some time soon.  Call me at 770-583-3258.

OK, here it is -- to give  you an idea of how excited I am abouth this:

OK, guys, here it is -- my Coweta Arts Tidbit about the Extravaganza.

Kudos go to Sandy Luttrell and to the Veterans for agreeing to do this -- this is a first, by the way, not just a first for Grantville Day but a first Period -- no one has ever done this before, so we are pioneers here, guys -- let's hear a cheer for Grantville !!

And, this is really gonna be fun -- do you know there will be both a cowboy and a cowgirl there -- each dressed in Texas attire because each was a native of Texas --she writes Texas romance novels and he writes cowboy poetry.  I could go on but will save more neat stuff until later.

OK, here it is -- History being made and you its witnesses!!

Forrest

Coweta Authors Book Signing Extravaganza on Sept. 15 & 16

During the past several years the achievements of  Coweta County 's performing artists and visual artists have been brought to public attention.  But there is almost no awareness that the literary arts also constitute an important facet of the Coweta scene.  There is so little knowledge about this that even some Coweta writers themselves are unaware of all the others out there!  The accomplishments of Coweta County 's authors will be highlighted on September 15 & 16 at the first ever Coweta Authors Book Signing Extravaganza to which all Coweta writers are being invited.  Thus far 16 of them have agreed to attend, and the total is expected to climb to about 20.  Every effort is being made to locate and contact and invite every Coweta County writer of a published book.  Anyone who has been missed should contact Forrest Schultz at 770-583-3258 or schultz_forrest@yahoo.com.  Announcements about the particular authors attending will be made soon.

This Coweta Authors Book Signing Extravaganza will be one of the features at this year's New Grantville Days Festival, which will be held on Main Street in Grantville.  The authors will be seated behind name plates at a long row of tables along the east wall of the renovated Railroad Freight Depot.  Admission to the Festival and the Signing is free of charge.  The Signing will begin at 10 AM on Saturday September 15 and at 12 Noon Sunday September 16 and will last each day until 5 PM.  Grantville is a small city in southern Coweta County at Exit 35 on Interstate 85 about a mile south of Atlanta .  Infomation on "Grantville Day", the original name of this festival is available from its Chairman Sandra Luttrell at sangalasands@aol.com.
