Masterworks Chorale Season Finale Concert on May 31
Kathy Bizarth, the leader of Coweta's premier chorus, the Masterworks Chorale, has provided the following information about their finale concert, which will be held at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County:
The concert on May 31 will be at 7:30 – admission is $12 and tickets can be bought at the door or purchased now from the Centre, Scott's Bookstore or Morgan's Music. The Chorale will present highlights from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Classics which will include music from The Sound of Music, Carousel, Oklahoma and others. The second half of the concert will feature the ensemble Mariano Pacetti and Those Guys – which includes woodwinds, trumpet, piano and percussion. The ensemble will play a program of music from the Big Band era. This is the final concert of the season for Masterworks. Auditions for next season are being scheduled now through the first week of June. Call Kathy Bizarth at 770-254-2885 to schedule an audition.
