Coweta   Arts   Tidbits The  Successor  To  Newnan-Coweta  Arts  Council  News  Releases   Composed By:  Forrest W. Schultz  770-583-3258     September 15, 2008   Masterworks Chorale Scholarship Benefit Concert on Sept. 28 at Arts Centre        The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County not only is a great place in which to perform, it also sponsors its own performing arts group -- the Masterworks Chorale, conducted by Kathy Bizarth.  On Saturday September 28 at 3 PM the Masterworks Chorale will be giving a benefit concert whose proceeds will go into its Scholarship Fund, which provides college funds for a Coweta County high school student each year.  Joining the Masterworks Chorale in this concert will be this year's scholarship winner and the Columbus State University Wind Ensemble.        Admission to the concert is free of charge.  Those attending will be free to make whatever donations they would like to the Masterworks Chorale Scholarship Fund.         The Centre is located on Lower Fayetteville Road several miles east of Newnan.  The phone number is 770-254-2787.
