Vendors Wanted for Senoia Memorial Day Celebration and Festival

-- Senoia's fourth annual Memorial Day Celebration and Festival begins at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25th in historic downtown Senoia.   Space is currently available for  antique, handmade arts and crafts vendors (no resale items, please) as well as parade participants.  Entry forms  for vendors and parade participants are available at www.senoia.com.

The keynote speaker for this year's festival is  State Representative John Yates.  Representative Yates is the only WWII veteran still serving in the state legislature and has a fascinating history serving our country.  The 2008 parade was the largest parade to date. We are expecting an even larger parade this year.  Civil and Revolutionary War Re-enactors, Veterans, Civic Groups, Businesses, Scouts, Bands, and Shriners are some of the other parade participants.  WWII Veterans are the collective Grand Marshals.

The Memorial Day Celebration and Festival is  sponsored by the Senoia Downtown Development Authority.  Make plans to bring your family for a fun day of patriotic celebration.
