August 31, 2009 Asian Culture Festival Coming To Downtown Newnan On Sept. 26
Will Benefit Community Welcome House
One of the best known and appreciated of Coweta's charitable organizations is the Community Welcome House, which helps victims of domestic abuse. From time to time various activities are conducted to raise funds for this worthy ministry. The next one coming up is a bit different -- it will be an Asian Culture Festival, which is being planned by the Shiloh Mission of the Shiloh Chinese Christian Church in Newnan and is being co-hosted by the Shiloh Mission and the Welcome House. Here is the information recently released by Amy Tai on behalf of Shiloh Mission: The Community Welcome House and Shiloh Mission is hosting the first annual Asian Culture Festival on September 26, 2009 from 12 pm- 6 pm at court house square in downtown Newnan, Georgia. We plan to have food, drink, vendors from various businesses, live concerts and much more. This event is to promote not only Asian cultures but also knit the community closer together. There will be businesses and non-profit organizations representing a variety of industries and services.
Here are several ways YOU can participate in the event.
