MORELAND, GA, April 07, 2007: Images Gallery will hold an Artist Reception for award winning local Jeweler, Mary Beth Hile on Saturday, April 07 from 4:00 to 6:00PM.
Mary Beth Hile is well known for her Jewelry in the art community. Her award winning pieces will be on display for sale at the reception as well as an opportunity to sign up for her Wire Wrapped Jewelry Class on April 14th.
Mary Beth is a self-taught wire artist and has been working in this medium for over 6 years. As a teen she was introduced to the unique beauty of semi-precious stones by her paternal grandfather who studied lapidary, the cutting and polishing of stones, after he retired from the Pittsburg steel mills. Using interesting stones and shapes allows Hile to create one-of-a-kind pieces for her customers.
Mary Beth has exhibited at Powers Crossroads, the annual Newnan Coweta Arts Show on the square each spring, Callaway Gardens and various other venues.
