Artist Shelley Laurin Teaching Composition Workshop at Images in Moreland

Images Gallery and Studio on Main Street in Moreland has been lining up special art classes and workshops.  The latest one has just been announced -- a Composition Worskshop taught by the noted watercolor artist Shelley Laurin, who recently moved to Moreland from Newnan.  To register for this workshop, which will be held on March 31, one must contact Deborah Smith, the owner of Images Studio, at 678-850-1868 or by email at imagesart1@bellsouth.net.  The cost is $50. Smith urges those interested to contact her immediately to be sure of being included because the class size will be limited.

Shelley Laurin is a member of the Newnan-Coweta Art Association (NCAA) who is listed as a Watercolor Artist and Instructor.  By going to the NCAA website, www.newcaa.com, and clicking on "Artists Galleries" and then clicking on her name, one can view Laurin's watercolors, three of which are shown below.  The website also contains her biographical sketch.  Last year Laurin was honored by having an entry accepted into the 2006 Traveling Art Exhibit of the Southern Crescent Alliance of Visual Artists (SCAVA) entitled "Georgia's Riches".  Her entry, The Falls At Wahoo Creek, which is shown below, is also shown on the SCAVA website, www.scavagroup.com.

Laurin can be contacted at shelleylaurin@bellsouth.net
