Newnan Author Has Articles Published in Chicken Soup and Writers Digest
Newnan author Kimberly Edwina Campbell is rejoicing over two great recent accomplishments: last month her "Now Or Never" article was included in the You Can Write For Children issue (December 2006) of Writers Digest and this month (January 2007) her writing can be found in the latest Chicken Soup For The Soul book: Life Lessons For Busy Moms. Campbell is also pleased that her recently biography of storyteller Richard Peck will be published later this year and that next year she will have another biography published -- this one on Lois Duncan. Both of these are in the "Authors Teen Love Series" of the Enslow Publishing Co.
Campbell has received a number of awards and honors in recognition of her literary excellence. The two most recent of these are the First Place award she received from the 2006 Sandhills Writers Conference held at Augusta State University and the
First Place Award in the Children's Fiction category at the Writer's Digest 73rd Annual Writing Competition. She is a member of The Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI)
