Images Announces Jewelry Workshop By Mary Beth Hile
One of the best jewelry craftsman in these parts is Mary Beth Hile from Sharpsburg. Her work has been displayed at venues too numerous for mention. She also occasionally teaches her craft. The next opportunity to learn jewelry craftsmanship from her will be provided by the Images Gallery and Studio on Main Street in Moreland, which recently has been sponsored various types of art workshops and classes. Here is what Deborah Smith, the Owner of Images, says about the Mary Beth Hile Workshop:
IMAGES Studio is proud to announce a wire wrapped jewelry workshop with our very own Jeweler, Mary Beth Hile. You will create a one of a kind necklace using semi-precious stones and the wire wrap method.
Mary Beth is a self-taught wire artist and has been working in this medium for over 6 years. As a teen she was introduced to the unique beauty of semi-precious stones by her paternal grandfather who studied lapidary, the cutting and polishing of stones, after he retired from the Pittsburg steel mills. Using interesting stones and shapes allows Hile to create one-of-a-kind pieces for her customers.
Mary Beth has exhibited at Powers Crossroads, the annual Newnan Coweta Arts Show on the square each spring, Callaway Gardens and various other venues.
Cost for this workshop: $45 Call Mary Beth today to reserve your space 770-304-2157 or e-mail us at email@example.com.
