Historical Society Planning Renovation of Moreland Mill Museum

Josh Evans recently announced that the Moreland Historical Society will be sponsoring a renovation of the Moreland Mill Museum, one of Coweta County's greatest historical sites.  Here is Evans' announcement:

The Moreland community historical Society is currently in the process of making plans to improve the Old Mill museum located in the historic Moreland Mill.  Our first priority is to take an inventory and catolog of the farming items we have in the museum.  We are working to have an intern from the State University of West Georgia come this summer and work on this project.  We want to draw vistors to learn more about Moreland's local history  We are meeting saturday march 29 at 9:00 am to label items in the museum so that it will help the intern with his or her work.  This will provide a learning experience for those who would like to join us in this work day.  If you would like more information about the society or would like to make a donation contact Josh Evans (678) 378-1342.
