Coweta Physician Bill Waters Publishes Two Books in 2008:

Two Days That Ruined Your Health Care and The Doctor Is In

There has been a lot of discussion and debate in recent times about the problems in our health care system.  Last year a book was published which received the endorsement of the President of the American Physicians and Surgeons organization as the best analysis of the subject ever written.  The author is Dr. William C. "Bill" Waters III, the Director of the Internal Medical Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta and a Professor at the Emory University School of Medicine.  The book is entitled Two Days That Ruined Your Health Care and is available through Scotts Book Store in Newnan and through Amazon.com.

Several years ago Bill Waters moved to Coweta County and is involving himself in its life.  He is a musician in the Centre Strings performers and has joined the Coweta Writers Group.  He has also been writing weekly columns for Newnan's Times-Herald newspaper.  These columns for the year 2008 have been published in his second book last year entitled The Doctor Is In:  50 Columns From the Times-Herald (2008).  These columns deal with all kinds of things including various diseases, medical myths, how to talk with your doctor, and so on.

Dr. Waters can be contacted at 770-683-0304 or at drwaters@mindspring.com
