[Coweta Arts Tidbits] Fall "Art Walk" Announced By Main Street Newnan

Coweta   Arts   Tidbits The  Successor  To  Newnan-Coweta  Arts  Council  News  Releases   Composed By:  Forrest W. Schultz  770-583-3258    August 18, 2008   Newnan's Fall Art Walk Set For September 12        Main Street Newnan has contributed a lot to the welfare of the City of Newnan, including the arts.  One of these contributions is the semi-annual Art Walks, held in the Spring and Fall of each year.  These Art Walks have become one of the most memorable and enjoyable of all the events to be found in this Coweta County city, and the Main Street Director, Linda Bridges is to be commended for them.        The Fall Art Walk for 2008 has been set for Friday September 12 from 4 PM thru 8 PM.  During this time one can stroll through Newnan's beautiful downtown area and see the art works displayed at the various participating businesses.  This is the notice which appears on the Main Street Newnan website, www.mainstreetnewnan.com :   Fall Art Walk Friday September 12th 4pm - 8pm Join the merchants of Main Street for a fall evening of art and excitement.  Stroll the streets and enjoy a walking gallery show.  Visit each downtown store to view the works of different professional artist.       And here is a photo of one of the participating businesses, which also houses an art gallery in its showroom, namely the Panoply Interior Design and Home Decor of Murray and Martha Ann Parks.
