Southside Visual and Performing Arts Seminar On September 13

Dr. Anita Lloyd Recommends That Cowetans Attend

So many things are happening in the burgeoning Southside arts scene that it is difficult to keep up with them all.  In order to meet this need, two years ago Andre DeLorenzo of Peachtree City established an online news service called the Southside Arts Agenda.  De Lorenzo recently announced another service for the Southside arts scene: the first ever Southside Visual and Performing Arts Seminar, which will held on September 13 at the Clayton County Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro from 8:30 AM through 5:00 PM.  To receive a seminar brochure and registration form, you can call 404-822-9057 or you can email  southsideartsagenda@comcast.net.

The Host of the Seminar is Dr. Anita Lloyd, the Co-ordinator of the PAC.  Dr. Lloyd is a former resident of Coweta County, who has kept in touch with the arts scene there.  She encourages Cowetans to attend the Seminar: "I highly recommend that arts organizations in Coweta County attend the arts seminar at the Performing Arts Center September 13. The seminar will be an important networking opportunity for arts administrators, producers, and non profit organizations. Please feel free to email me at alloyd@clayton.k12.ga.us if you have questions."

Here is DeLorenzo's statement about the seminar:  "This first-of-its-kind seminar to be held in the Southern Crescent may well be the most important meeting you will attend this year!  Why? Because leading experts in the fields of event planning, marketing, advertising, promotion and grant funds will be on hand to share their knowledge and successes with you. We are bringing together leading experts in their fields to help you increase ticket sales, program advertising sales, sponsor participation, the correct method of applying and winning grants and so much more."

You can either register on the day the seminar is held for a cost of $50 or you can register in advance for a cost of $35.

For further information. contact DeLorenzo either at 404-822-9057 or email him at Andre DeLorenzo southsideartsagenda@comcast.net
