Next Themed NCAA Exhibit Opening Reception on March 26 at Espresso Lane

The Newnan-Coweta Art Association, despite its size, its longevity, and its many high quality art works does not have its own art gallery -- well, not what one normally thinks of as an art gallery, anyway.  Its art gallery is the spacious wall surface inside the Espresso Lane Coffee Shop at 22 West Court Square in downtown Newnan.  This is a great way to get the art out there where the people are, who can come in to see the art when they want without having to worry about art gallery hours, etc.  And they can sit there and chat and sip their coffee while doing so.

From the outset of this great idea, the paintings there have been periodically changed out in accord with a schedule of themed exhibits.  Until recently the theme changed each month.  Now each exhibit lasts a bit longer, approximately 6 or 7 weeks.  Each exhibit is kicked off with an opening reception where one can come and meet the artists whose works will be adorning the walls for the upcoming time frame.

The next exhibit has a somewhat puzzling theme title:  "Seeing Snow" Challenge:  "Dry Medium".  Huhh??  Well, I guess the artists know what it means!  To find out, come to the opening reception, which will be held at Espresso Lane on Thursday March 26 from

7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

Info on NCAA is available at www.newcaa.com.  By clicking on "Espresso Lane" there one can get info on the upcoming exhibits and the forms needed to be filled out by the artists.  The exhibit co-ordinator can be emailed at elgallery@newcaa.com.  Information on Espresso Lane itself is available at http://expressolanenewnan.com or by calling 770-683-7290.
