Southern Conservation Trust invites you to participate in the 2nd annual juried nature photography celebration Nature, Undisturbed, which will benefit the Trust's conservation work in the Southern Crescent.

Nature, Undisturbed
April 16-April 24, 2010
Dogwood Gallery, Tyrone

Like the 2009 show, next year's exhibition will showcase the simple, yet majestic, beauty of nature, wildlife, and our local landscapes. Each unique image echos the sentiment "a picture is worth a thousand words"; a powerful reinforcement for the importance of greenspace and natural habitat protection for future generations of people and wildlife.
Amateur and professional photographers are encouraged to submit one or more nature photos in either one or both categories:
  • "Nature, Undisturbed" for photographs featuring nature in any location.
Nature Undisturbed is modeled on the very successful 7 year old SlowExposures Exhibition, held every September in Pike County. SlowExposures draws over 600 entries and attracts more than 1,000 folks each year to view and purchase quality photography. Quickly following in its footsteps, Nature, Undisturbed's innaugual year drew almost 200 hundred entries.

The Director of Nature, Undisturbed is Donna Rosser, the "barefoot photographer", a renowned local photographer and founder of the Fayette Photo Club.

Nature, Undisturbed will again showcase locally and internationally honored photographers. Cash Prizes will be awarded for each category, and to the Sponsor's Choice and the People's Choice. Details coming soon about judges and prizes.
