Renae Barton Art Gallery To Feature New Southside Artist Greg Blair on Sept 28

It is difficult to keep up with the Coweta County arts scene because there are always new artists and organizations cropping up all the time.  The latest one to arrive on the scene is Renae Barton and her Renae Barton Art Gallery which opened in Newnan last month at 20 Jefferson Street in The Shops of Beard and Co.   The simplest way to describe what you will see in her gallery is to note the great variety of media, styles, and subjects among the various art works produced by the dozen artists currently exhibiting.  Perhaps the most intriguing of these works are those by Baarton herself and by Daniel Blake of Newnan.  Anyone interested in seeing Blake's art needs to come in soon because Blake will soon be moving out of Coweta.

Another very interesting man whose works are displayed there is Greg Blair, who will be the Featured Artist on Friday September 28 from 5 PM thru 9 PM.  Greg recently moved from Atlanta to Tyrone, where he established his own gallery and frame store called Dogwood Gallery and Framer, which had its Grand Opening earlier this month.  Beginning on September 28 and continuing  for several weeks after that the Renae Barton Gallery will display many of Blair's works.
