Artist Scott Palmer To Create Art Work During Calico Christmas in Grantville
There are many opportunities to see the paintings of artists in art galleries and museums and other venues. But there are very few opportunties to watch an artist produce his painting. There will be such an opporuntity next month at the Calico Christmas celebration in Grantville on Saturday December 8. For information about Calico Christmas one should visit their website

Art Before Your Eyes
Local artist Scott Palmer, most recently known for his mural work at Grantville Library and Nick's in Grantville, has accepted the challenge of creating a complex work of art on site. You will be able to watch Scott work as he creates a detailed christmas mosaic, beginning with a blank canvas and armed with only a small copy of the image he plans to replicate. Scott will begin work at approximately 10:30 a.m. and will complete the mosaic before dusk.
