Coweta Artist Kay Moore at Winterfest 2007 in Columbus
Coweta artist Kay Moore, the Owner and Resident Artist of Sookie's Glass Art Studio in Newnan, has just released the following information:

Please join me November 30th through December 2nd at the River Center for the Performing Arts in Columbus, GA for WinterFest 2007. It is sure to be a fun event for the whole family.

RiverCenter Weather Service predicts snow flurries on Broadway at 5:00 pm, November 30th with frosty holiday renditions from the Hardaway High School Marching Band. RiverCenter will keep the chill at bay with a cup of complimentary hot apple cider for all. The kickoff begins a blizzard of shopping fun presented by the region's finest artists as patrons register to win winterfest shopping sprees. Shopping spree winners will be announced at 5:45 pm, November 30th. Winners must be present to win.

winterfest2007— A Visual & Performing Arts Festival, November 30 - December 2, at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts.

The concept of winterfest is to provide a unique opportunity for all of the arts to "take center stage".  In addition to paintings, artists' booths will feature pottery, jewelry, glass works of art, photography and more!

Also, there is no admission fee to this Visual Arts Festival.

Artists' booths will be featured on the orchestra and mezzanine levels of RiverCenter's Grand Lobby. Talent abounds this year at winterfest, as two of the exhibiting artists were recently featured in the August edition of Southern Living.

As a special way of saying "thanks" to all my students, I am offering the following discounts for students attending WinterFest 2007:

Any current stained glass class members who check in at my booth will receive $10 off their next purchase of class supplies!!

New students who purchase a block of 10 stained glass classes at the show will receive one additional lesson at no charge, plus a $10 discount off your first purchase of supplies.

So my generous patrons on this email list don't feel left out . . .

Here's a coupon for you to use in my booth!

I hope everyone will have a fabulous Thanksgiving, and I look forward to seeing you at WinterFest 2007!!
