Author/Illustrator Joyce Revoir Issues "Busy Bee" Film

Author/Illustrator  Joyce Revoir of Newnan has been busy recently creating a new children's movie, The Busy Bee and The Silly Sunflowers, which was released today on DVD as the latest production in her Little Garden Stories series of books and films.  Her website www.LittleGardenStories.com describes the story of the film in these words:   When the garden's busiest worker find her flowers are gone, The Busy Bee learns a wonderful lesson on sharing and friendship.   The DVD includes new songs by Christy Jantzen and some "Craft-Time fun".

Revoir was inspired to create the Little Garden Stories from sharing in her children's backyard adventures.  Shortly after moving to Newnan her daughter Gillian saw fireflies for the first time.  It was her delightful reaction to the fireflies that served as the inspiration for the first of the Little Garden Stories.

Revoir has been highly praised for the creative quality of her stories, and her achievement was publically and nationally recognized when she received the 2007 Telly Award for her story "The Little Firefly".

Below are photos of Revoir, Jantzen, The Telly Award, the cover of the Busy Bee DVD, and a close-up of the Busy Bee alighting on a flower.
