Paul Conlan in LOFAS Show Collage at Carrollton Cultural Arts Center

 

      Paul Conlan of Newnan has entered his photographic art works in many different exhibitions.  Last year he joined the League Of Fine Artrists -- South (LOFAS) and participated in their show in Peachtree City.  This year he again is participating in the LOFAS annual exhbit, Collage,  which will be held from September 11 through October 7 in The Galleria of the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center.  The Opening Reception for the show will be held on the first day, Friday September 11 from 6 PM through 8 PM.  There is no admission charge.  The Galleria is open from 9 AM through 5 PM Monday through Friday, and is open from 9 AM through 2 PM on Saturday. 

 

     Anyone planning to attend should be aware of the fact that at the same time this Opening Reception is taking place, The Carrollton Cultural Arts Center will be also be  hosting a reception for a different show, this one by the Blackberry Creek Artists, which will be held in the Roush Family Gallery.

 

     Conlan will be including six of his photographs in this LOFAS Exhibit.  Two of these are shown below.  One of these, Pointing The Way, was one of the First Place Winners at last year's Slow Exposures Photographic Exhibition of the Rural South, which he will also be participating in this year.  He has provided this photograph.  The other image, Room At The Bar, was provided courtesy of Penny Lewis, the Director of the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center.
