Grantville Gospel Sing For June Returns to Depot

For the past several years one of the features of the Coweta arts scene has been the monthly Southern Country Gospel Music Sings held in the Grantville, which is a small city in southern Coweta County located at Exit 35 on Interstate 85, about an hour south of Atlanta. During the past year the Sings have been held at various places; in June they will return to their original venue -- the renovated Railroad Freight Depot adjacent to tracks at the end of Main Street. This concert will be held on Saturday June 28 beginning at 7 PM. The performers will be the Cleghorns from Warner Robins, the Christiannaires from LaGrange and
The atmosphere is informal, sort of like a picnic, and, in fact, refreshments are served, and you may get up from your seat whenever you wish and listen from outside if you want. There is no exact length to these concerts. They typically last about 3 hours.

The organizer is Roy Smith who can be contacted by phone at 770-251-5621 or by email at depotsinging@yahoo.com.
