Writer/Publisher Swanee Ballman Moves to Coweta

Will Speak To Southern Writers Conference on July 5

Swanee Ballman recently completed the process of moving her Jawbone Publishing Company from Florida to Newnan.  And she is quickly getting acquainted with the writing community in Coweta.  She has joined the Coweta Writers Group, and she has accepted an invitation from Vickie Kennedy to speak to two of the sessions at the Southern Writers Conference, which will be held at the Holiday Inn Express on Saturday, July 5.  Kennedy is the author of several books, is the leader of the writing workshop The Writers Block, and the owner of etreasures publishing, which is a co-sponsor of the Conference. Kennedy is the one who originated the idea of holding a writers conference in Coweta County.

One of the sessions at the Southern Writers Conference which Ballman will address will deal with "the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of book publishing".  This session will run from 12:30 PM through 1:30 PM.  The second session she will lead, which will be held from 3:30 - 4:15 PM will be a workshop on the writing of film scripts.

Information on Vickie Kennedy, etreasures publishing, and the Southern Writers Conference is available at www.etreasurespublishing.com. Information on Swanee Ballman and the Jawbone Publishing Company is available at www.jawbonepublishing.com.

Ballman is the author of several books, the most signicant one of which is probably
Tamarind, which is a novel patterned closely after an actual interesting legal battle which occurred recently in a Florida town.  Her books are listed on the jawbone website and on www.amazon.com.
