Newnan Theatre Does More Than Perform Plays:

They Also Offer a "Murder Mystery Dinner" and an Improv Troupe

If you thought that all the Newnan Theatre does is put on plays, think again!!  Their website www.newnantheatre.com announces two other events:  a "Murder Mystery Dinner" and a performance by an Improv Troupe.

In the wake of the recent Coweta arts news items about Senoian Joey Waldrop being accepted into the Fayette improv troupe called The Gallery Players, one may wonder whether there is a Coweta improv troupe.  The answer is "Yes" and there will be an opportunity to see them perform at the Newnan Theatre on November 15 at 8 PM.  They call themselves by the acronym NITWITS, which stands for "NCTC Improv Troupe With Incredibly Talented Stooges".  Will they be good enough to become as famous as The Three Stooges??  Come to the Newnan Theatre and decide for yourself!

Dianne Olsen, speaking for the Theatre has this comment on NITWITS:

"Based on the Drew Carey popular TV Show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the group follows a game format with interaction from the audience.  Headed by Darren Matthews, the group is new to the theatre this year, but has become very popular.  Tickets are only $5 at the door, and it's sure to be a fun evening out.  Due to content, the show is rated PG-13.  With improv, one never knows what may happen!"

See below for the info about this NTWITS troupe and about the Murder Mystery Dinner which is on the Theatre website:
