Wide Variety of Holiday Styles in Masterworks Chorale Concert on Nov. 20

By now just about everyone who is au courant with the Southside music scene knows that the Masterworks Chorale is the resident community chorus of the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County.  What some may not know is that the Chorale was actually formed (in September 2003) before the Centre even opened (in April 2004).

One thing for which the Chorale is known is its great Christmas season concert, which this year will be held on November 20 at the Centre at 7:30 PM.  The Chorale is not disclosing its repertoire, but it does promise a wide variety of holiday styles.

The Masterworks Chorale is also known for its great Director, Kathy Bizarth, who has been the Fine Arts Chair and director of choral music at Newnan High School for 22 years, and for its great Accompanist, David Kinrade, who has been the Minister of Music at the First United Methodist Church of Newnan for 23 years, which involves overseeing ten choirs.

The Centre is located on Lower Fayetteville Road several miles east of Newnan.
For ticket information, call the Centre at 770-254-2787.
