NCAA Gallery At Espresso Lane Continues With Changes:

New Owners; New Co-ordinator; Longer Exhibit Times

Next Reception Set For October 26

Several years ago the Newnan-Coweta Art Association (NCAA) came up with a great idea: exhibiting the paintings of its members on the walls of the coffee shop in downtown Newnan originally called Gallery Row and now called Espresso Lane.  The shop is not large but it has a great deal of available wall space which NCAA has been using for periodic themed exhibits.  These exhibits, which have been held monthly, recently got a longer exhibit time, lasting approximately a month and a half.

The Reception for the next themed exhibit -- "Days Growing Shorter" -- is set for Thursday, October 30 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  During this time you can drop in, get a cup of great coffee, and meet the artists displaying their paintings for the new exhibit. And you can stop in at any time Espresso Lane is open to see the paintings.

There have also been personnel changes.  New owners have recently taken over Espresso Lane --  Nathan and January Dockery, who are continuing to allow the walls to be used as the NCAA Gallery.  And Nancy Tomlin is the new Gallery Co-ordinator, who can be reached at elgallery@newcaa.com.  Espresso Lane is located at 22 West Court Square; its phone no. is 770-683-7290.

Information on NCAA is available on their website www.newcaa.com
