Schultz 770-583-3258     October 22, 2008   Musicology Announces New Musikgarten Session, New Teacher,   Re-Offer of Songwriting Class, and Winter Recital        Musicology at 48 Spring Street in Newnan offers many music classes and an occasional recital.  Therefore it is not surprising that their latest new release has three items pertaining to their classes and one item about an upcoming recital.  Info on Musicology is found on their website www.musicologynewnan.com.  Their news release reads as follows:      Musikgarten The next session of Musikgarten will be starting up the beginning of November.  Classes for babies (newborn to 18 months) will meet every Monday at 3:00 PM and every Thursday at 9:30 AM. Toddlers (18 month to 3 ½ years) classes will meet on Mondays at 3:30 and on Thursdays at 10:30.  This is an amazing program and a great opportunity to spend time with your child singing, dancing, and playing music.   We will also be offer Moovin' & Groovin', a class for children ages 3 ½ to 6. This class will meet on Monday afternoons at 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.   All of the classes will run for 5 weeks and break for the week of Thanksgiving.   Cost is $90 for new participants and $60 for returning participants.  Sign up now spaces are filling up quickly.   Songwriting for Adults Diane's songwriting class has been such a hit that she has decided to offer it again. This session of the class is going to be offered to adults only.  It will meet every Tuesday night from 7-9 PM.  The class will start on October 28th and will run for 4 consecutive weeks. Come and learn the ins-and-outs of creating your own song.   Cost for the songwriting class is $100.   Winter Recital The Winter Recital is officially scheduled for Sunday December 14th.  Spaces are limited so sign up now.   New Instructor We are pleased to announce that Armand Grimaldi is going to be joining the Musicology staff. Armand has performed with DON HENLEY (THE EAGLES), MICHAEL MCDONALD (DOOBIE BROTHERS), JAMES TAYLOR and CHAKA KHAN among many others. He has many years of experience teaching, performing, and recording. Armand will be teaching drum lessons on Mondays.  We are very excited to have him!
