A Sanders Family Christmas Coming to Arts Centre

There will be a lot of holiday programs this year in and near Coweta so now would be a good time to start marking your calendar.  One which looks interesting is the performance of A Sanders Family Christmas at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County on December 13 at 7 PM.  The Centre's events calendar section describes it in these words:

"A Sanders Family Christmas" is gospel sing and testimonial set in December, 1941 shortly after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This is the last opportunity for the Sanders family to sing together as Denis the youngest boy has joined the Navy and getting ready to leave. It is a wonderful telling of the Christmas story in Luke:  the story heart felt and humorous and all wrapped up in a great big Christmas bow. A great show to bring grandchildren or grand parents to see, you'll hear some of your favorite Christmas songs and few you haven't heard before. But you will be sure to go out the door with a song in your heart and the surrounded by the true feeling of Christmas."

Tickets will go on sale on November 1.  The cost is $12 for adults, and  $10 Students and Senior Citizens.
The Centre is located several miles east of Newnan on Lower Fayetteville Road.  Information about this and other shows at the Centre is available by calling 770-254-2787.
