Grantville Gospel Sings for June Held Out-of-Doors:

Friday Sing in Colley Park; Saturday Sing on Lawn at First Baptist

Until the bureaucratic snafu is straightened out, the monthly Grantville Depot Southern Country Gospel Music Sings cannot be held in the Depot and so are using other venues.  The venues for the June Sings will both be out-of-doors.  The Sing for Friday night June 22 will be held in Colley Park, which is located on the north side of Main Street and the Sing for Saturday night June 23 will be held on the lawn behind the First Baptist Church of Grantville, which is located at 45 Broad Street, which is on the east side of the railroad tracks.  As usual each Sing will begin at 7 PM and will usually last about 3 hours, and there will be refreshments and everyone is invited and admission is free of charge.  The singers for each Sing are listed below:

Friday Night June 22:

Carter Trio from LaGrange
The Whites from Grantville
Family Circle from Hogansville
(plus others)

Saturday June 23:

Perfect Peace from Alexander City, AL
The Travelers from Columbus, GA
Young Spirit from Manchester, GA
Steve Presley from LaGrange, GA
Kingdom Express from Columbus, GA
(plus others)

Grantville is a small city in southern Coweta County located at Exit 35 along Interstate 85 about an hour south of Atlanta.  Information on the Grantville Sings is available from Roy Smith at 770-251-5621 or depotsinging@yahoo.com.
