Yates Receives Music Award

Mecca EntranceJerry Yates, who performed at the 2007 Festival of the ARTS, garnered another milestone in his career recently. He received The Emerald Award. It was awarded to him, by RhonBob Promotions, because his current song, "There's Peace From the Lord," was one of the most played songs on the radio during the month of April. It has been on the Roots Music Association's, Roots Gospel Chart, for 15 weeks now.  The song will be included on his new CD, which should be released in June.
