It's going to be a fun and Magical Summer!
Youth Session 1 Magical Swirls Visions with Van Gogh (Vincent Van Gogh)
Dates: June 25 - 28
Monday - Thursday
Time: 10:00am - 11:45am
Ages: 5 yrs to 12 yrs
Cost: $50.00*
Check made payable to Coweta County Recreation Dept.
A supply fee of $15.00 for this class should be made payable to Teri Lewis .

Youth Session 2 Magical Colors Georgia's Gifts (Georgia O'Keeffe)
Dates: June 25 - 28
Monday - Thursday
Time: 1:00pm - 2:45pm
Ages: 5 yrs to 12 yrs
Cost: $50.00*
Check made payable to Coweta County Recreation Dept.
A supply fee of $15.00 for this class should be made payable to Teri Lewis .
About the Program
In Youth Sessions 1 & 2, students will be introduced to the basics of drawing and painting. These fun-filled classes teach the student to see and think like an artist! Some basic skills will be taught to build self-confidence while exposing them to the world of Van Gogh and O'Keeffe. Lesson plans will have the student involved in every step of the hands-on projects and paintings. Students will complete 2 projects to take home at the end of the session.
Registration
You may choose to register your young artists for the youth morning session or the afternoon session or you may sign them up for both! Session 1 - $50.00 (plus $15.00 supply fee - 2 separate checks)
Session 2 - $50.00 (plus $15.00 supply fee - 2 separate checks)
*If you're interested in signing up your student for both youth sessions, we will treat them to a supervised lunch at no additional charge. We can provide their lunch or they are welcomed to bring their own sack of lunch favorites!
Two or more siblings - receive a discount!
Session 1 - 2 or more @ $45.00 each.
Session 2 - 2 or more @ $45.00 each.
This discount is non-transferable to "friends" and other "family" members. Please, no "drop-ins".** supply fees will remain at $15.00 per student, per session
Mommy & Me Cookie Camp Instructors - Bet te Hickman and Teri Lewis
Date: July 27 (Friday)
Time: 10:00am - 12:00 noon
Ages: 3 yrs to 4 yrs
Cost: $35.00*

A supply fee of $15.00 for this class should be made payable to Teri Lewis
In this class, our youngest artists and their mommies will learn some basic skills & techniques to use at home during art time. We will experiment with, decorate and devour some wonderful artistic creations! Class size will be extremely limited and it will be necessary for "mommies" to accompany their little artists!

All classes are conducted at the Harriet Alexander Art Center Hospital Rd. Newnan, GA (located in same area as Newnan Coweta Public Library & the old GA State Patrol Office off of Temple Avenue and Hospital Road.)
Registration Policy:
You must register and pay in advance to assure your place in class! We will accept registrations by mail through June 20th as space is available. Complete the registration form (enclosed) and mail it with 2 checks (1st check made payable to Coweta County Rec. Dept.) in the correct amount (no partial payments) and the (2nd check for the Supply Fees should be made payable to Teri Lewis .)

We will also offer an Open House Registration on Sunday, June 24th, 2:00pm - 3:00pm for all camps at the Harriet Alexander Art Center .
However, space is limited so you are encouraged to register early! We cannot guarantee there will be any spaces remaining for Sunday's Open House!

2 or more children in same family receive $5.00 discount per child on the class fees. Supply fees will remain the same. Not available to "other" family members or out-of-town guests. Please, no "drop ins".
Example Class Fees:
2 children for 1 session 2 X $45.00 (instead of $50.00 ea) = $90.00
2 children for both sessions 2 X $90.00 (instead of $100.00 ea) = $180.00
Supply FEES remain $15.00 per student, per session.
If you are registering more than 1 student, please use an additional sheet of paper to list all names, ages & amounts or you can make copies of this sheet.
Remember: This completed registration form must be accompanied by Class FEES check, made payable to Coweta Co Rec Dept in the correct amount and Supply FEES check made payable to Teri Lewis and mailed in time for us to receive it by June 20th!
