Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats Coming to Arts Centre on Sept. 9

The world famous Chinese Golden Acrobats are soon to embark on a tour of the USA.  They will only be performing at two venues in Georgia:  one in Columbus and the other at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts of Coweta County in Lower Fayetteville Road east of Newnan, which Cowetans call "The Arts Centre".  Our hats are off once again to Don Nixon for bringing yet another great show to the Centre as the latest example of the ever growing renaissance of the Southside.  The online news service the Southside Arts Agenda provides this information about this important show:

September 9th
3:00 p.m. Golden Dragon Acrobats of China pay a return visit to The Centre for Performing & Visual Arts - The ancient art of Chinese acrobatics is an old and longstanding tradition that began more than 2000 years ago. Over its long and rich history, it has developed as one of the most popular art forms among the Chinese people. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as the premier Chinese acrobatic touring company of our time. Their reputation is solidly rooted in a commitment to the highest production values and attention to artistic details that is unparalleled in the art form.
