Grantville Gospel Sings For August Announced:

Friday Sing in Colley Park; Saturday Sing at First Baptist Back Yard

We cannot call the them the "Grantville DEPOT Gospel Sings" this month because they will not be held there while the Depot is being repaired.  The Sing for Friday night August 24 will be held in Colley Park on Main Street in Grantville and the Sing for Saturday night August 25 will be held in the large back yard behind the parsonage of the First Baptist Church of Grantville, which is located on 45 West Broad Street.  As usual, each Sing will begin at 7 PM and will usually last about 3 hours and the atmosphere will be informal.  The out-of-doors venues this month will provide especially appropriate venues for the Southern Country Gospel genre.  Painting which is done out-of-doors is called en plein air
art.  For some en plein air music, come to the Grantville Gospel Sings this month!
