Coles Whalen Returns To The Alamo Saturday May 16

Nashville Singer/Songwriter Coles Whalen will be bringing a bass player with her when she returns to The Alamo on Saturday May 16 at 9 PM for an acoustic performance.  Her music is described by CD Baby in this way:  "With that remarkably vulnerable and transparent voice trembling with determination and conviction, Coles Whalen has matched the popular appeal of female folk pop with the harmonic and emotional nuances of jazz."  The photographs below show how she looks at the mic and on her album cover.  Additional information is available on her website www.coleswhalen.com.  Whalen has sung all over the country, including appearances at the Atlantic Station in Atlanta and The Red Room in Peachtree City.

The Alamo, which is now a restaurant providing live entertainment is one of Newnan's historic buildings which once housed a motion picture theatre.  It is located in the heart of downtown Newnan on the Courthouse Square -- at 19 West Court Square, to be exact.  It is easy to spot because the Marquee is still there!  Information on The Alamo is available by calling 770-683-2526 or by visiting their website www.thealamonewnan.com.
