Kimberly Campbell's Bio of Lois Duncan Is Published

(Book Is In Enslow Publishers Authors Teens Love Series)

Coweta author Kimberly Campbell has ended her sabbatical and resumed her writing of the biographies in the Authors Teens Love Series under her contract with Enslow Publishers.  Her first book in the contract was the biography of Richard Peck which was published in 2007.  She recently had the second one published (earlier this Year), the biography of Lois Duncan.  She is quite pleased with the result and especially with how helpful Mrs. Duncan was.

Before she writes another biograhy in the Enslow series, she plans to finish a novel, probably later this year, which has been in progress for some time.  She has not yet revealed which children's author will be the subject of her next biography.  Information on Campbell and her other writings (mainly articles) and her awards can be found on her  website www.kimberlycampell.net.  Campbell is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and of The Coweta Writers Group (CWG).

In 2006, I was offered my first book contract by Enslow Publishers to write the biography of Newbery author Richard Peck, for their Authors Teens Love series. I recently finished a second book for Enslow (the biography of Lois Duncan) and it was published this year! Mrs. Duncan was super helpful with the project and I cannot thank her enough.

I've been on a brief writing hiatus, but hope to return to the keyboard soon. Fiction is my first love, so this summer (2009), I hope to focus on finishing a novel-in-progress.
