Second Coming and New Horizons In Concert in Grantville Depot on May 23

The monthly Southern Country Gospel Music Concerts in Grantville's renovated Railroad Freight Depot are regarded by the musicians not only as performing arts, but also as ministries.  In fact one of them last year even added the word "ministries" to its official name so that it is now known as Second Coming Ministries, which is clearly indicated on the official photograph of the group, which is shown below because they are one of the groups which will be in concert at the Depot this month.  They are based in Griffin, GA; and the other group which will be performing and ministering will be the New Horizons

from Thomaston, GA.

The concert will begin at 7 PM on Saturday May 23.  As always, admission is free, refreshments will be served, the atmosphere will be friendly and picnic-like, and there will be an opportunity to meet the musicians. Seating is provided inside the Depot but one is free to listen from outside the building in adjacent Colley Park if one wishes to do so.  The Park & Depot in the heart of a small rural Southern town provide an ideal ambience for the Southern Country Gospel Music Genre.

Grantville is located at the south end of Coweta County at Exit 35 on Interstate 85.

Information on the Gospel Depot Concerts is available from Roy Smith at 770-251-5621 or at depotsinging@yahoo.com.
